This after-school experience is designed to awaken the creative spirit and imagination through acting, music and movement in a safe, non-competitive environment. We’ll work on all aspects of theatre, acting, dancing and music. Our goals for students are to provide them with the opportunity to have fun exploring the creative arts and discovering new talents while they build on those they already have.

Defying Gravity Camp
with Candice Newsum

Defy gravity in this spellbinding musical theater class inspired by the magical world of Wicked! Perfect for kids ages 5-12, this class will explore the captivating story of friendship, courage, and finding your true self. Through acting, singing, and dancing, students will bring the unforgettable characters of the green-skinned Elphaba, the bubbly Glinda, and their enchanting adventures to life. With fun, age-appropriate activities, kids will learn essential performance skills, build confidence, and discover the joy of teamwork. The class will culminate in a mini-showcase where young performers can share their talents and newfound magic with family and friends. Let your child’s creativity take flight in this unforgettable journey to the land of Oz!

Set sail on an unforgettable adventure in our Moana 2: Journey Beyond the Reef Musical Theatre Camp! Young performers will dive into the world of Moana’s newest journey, bringing the magic of the ocean to life through singing, dancing, and acting!

CandiNews also has an IN-HOME training service that enables your child to become a stronger performer, fast! One-on-one coaching has several advantages over classroom instruction, one of which being that your child is guaranteed 100% of the attention. Scheduled discussed.
What ages do you teach?
We teach ages 3 - 12.
How much does it cost per session?
$85/Hour in home session 8 weeks
Do you do ongoing lessons?
Absolutely. Lessons are recommended, at least once a week for 8 weeks. If your child isn't actively training, and they are planning to audition professionally, they need lessons to compete. First impressions matter.
Is their a performance in the after 8 weeks?
Yes, your child will be able perform and recite a memorized Monologue/Poem/Speech they can use in an audition or a casting submission online.
